During this year’s annual Benefits Open Enrollment period, October 27 through November 7, 2025, CPS has partnered with United Schools Associates (USA) to provide each school with a dedicated benefits counselor—making this one of the best engagement opportunities to support staff as they explore and understand their benefit options.
The USA team is a trusted partner that has been serving CPS employees for more than a decade and has had the endorsement of the Chicago Teachers Union since 2018. With this partnership, we hope to break down complex plan options into understandable terms for our employees, helping them make confident and informed decisions for their 2026 benefit elections.

How can I make changes during open enrollment?
Log into the self-service portal at CPS.edu/HR4U
If I don’t want to change my benefits elections, is there any action I need to take?
All benefit elections rollover to the next year except for HSA (Healthcare Savings Account) and the FSA (Flexible Spending Account). These two accounts must be re-elected each year.
Can I complete Open Enrollment at home?
